With the Flat season drawing to a close and the jumps action yet to get going, this afternoon’s action looks fairly quiet for a Saturday and not too many horses make any appeal.
The action from Longchamp and the Sun Chariot down at HQ are the highlights on the level, while the concluding bumper at Fontwell doesn’t look a bad event.
Both Pinnacle Panda and Oulamayo shaped with plenty of promise on their respective debuts and are a pair to note here.
Over in Ireland CLARCAM (4:35) is fancied to land the Grade 2 PWC Champion Chase at Gowran Park.
Gordon Elliott’s five-year-old was a smart novice last term and rounded off his season by landing a Grade 1 over this trip at Aintree.
After just six starts over the larger obstacles, the son of Califet remains open to plenty of improvement this winter.
