Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Fine Article in the Fairyhouse 16:25. Compare odds and bet.
Slightly disappointing earlier in the season Fine Article (4:25) is getting the hang of things over hurdles and, though we won’t see the best of him until he goes chasing in the autumn, Paul Nolan’s six-year-old is worth supporting in the 3m novice handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse on Tuesday.
A strapping son of Definite Article who is a half-brother to the same connections’ classy Joncol, the day’s selection was a high-class bumper performer (4th in the Grade 1 at Punchestown) but is just one from five over hurdles this season.
He has shaped well in defeat the last twice, however, and, with the probable strongly run contest likely to bring about further improvement, he can reverse recent form with Vedettariat.
Tuesday’s selection:
4:25 Fairyhouse: Fine Article; 10/1 bet365
