Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Voix D’Eau in the Stratfird 15:40. Compare odds and bet.
Harry Fry was dealt a blow over the weekend, when Rock On Ruby was ruled out of the World Hurdle, but the Seaborough based trainer still sends a decent squad to this week’s Cheltenham Festival and he can kick-start the week with a winner at Stratford, courtesy of Voix D’Eau (3:40).
The five-year-old has been absent since showing plenty of promise on his British debut at Wincanton in November, where he travelled really well for a long way, before seemingly failing to get home over 2m4f.
The drop back in trip should help and, though this looks a pretty competitive little race, I have been waiting for the Voix Du Nord gelding since that promising run. He was available at 6-1 with a few firms overnight, but wouldn’t be surprised if he were sent off shorter.
Monday’s selection:
3:40 Stratford: Voix D’Eau; 6/1 William Hill
