Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Lady Of Lamanver in the Exeter 14:30. Compare odds and bet.
The opening mares’ novices’ hurdle at Exeter on Tuesday looks a competitive affair, in which the penalised runners warrant plenty of respect.
Oliver Sherwood’s Taniokey may have bumped into a nice type (won again since) last time, while Warren Greatrex’s string is in much better form than when Miss Sophierose was last sighted, so she too can be expected to bounce back.
At the prices, however, Lady Of Lamanver (2:30) is worth backing each-way at 5-1 (Bet365) having shown promise in bumpers for Harry Fry.
The Lucarno mare chased home two smart horses at Warwick in December and also bumped into a useful looking winner at Huntigdon last month. The step up in trip and more testing track should play to her strengths, and the five-year-old is fancied to go well on debut, despite meeting a couple of previous winners.
Tuesday’s selection:
2:30 Exeter: Lady Of Lamanver; 5/1 bet365
