Too keen for his own good, the lightly-raced eight-year-old shaped as though he would improve for the outing and Paul Nicholls’ charge should find this slightly shorter trip in his favour.
Given his latest run was just his third over hurdles, the Presenting gelding remains unexposed and open to further improvement.
