Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Fine Rightly in the Naas 14:50. Compare odds and bet.
The valuable 2m4f novice handicap chase at Naas on Sunday looks a competitive affair as you’d expect and, though I have plenty of respect for Bishops Road (a winner for this column four weeks ago), I am happy to side with top-weight Fine Rightly (2:50) who also struck for us last month.
After a couple of encouraging efforts on home soil, including when runner-up here, Stuart Crawford’s seven-year-old won as he liked at Ayr, off a mark of 132.
Davy Russell’s mount runs off 140 here and in a much deeper race, but there was a lot to like about the way he did it and he looks sure to go well, with the ground not an issue. Hopefully he will be available at an each-way price.
Sunday’s selection:
2:50 Naas Fine Rightly 10/1 Stan james
