Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; King’s Odyssey in the Chepstow 14:20. Compare odds and bet.
An expensive purchase after finishing runner-up in a Warwick bumper last season KING’S ODYSSEY (2:20) is fancied to score at the third time of asking over hurdles.
Runner-up to Some Plan (winner again since) at Southwell, Evan Williams’ runner finished only fourth when sent off favourite at Sandown in December, but the form of that race could hardly have worked out any better.
The first three home have won five races between them since (from just six starts) and both the step up in trip and better ground could bring about significant improvement in the selection.
