Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Traffic Fluide in the Plumpton 14:50. Compare odds and bet.
There may only be four horses going to post, but the novices’ limited handicap chase at Plumpton is an intriguing little contest and one that can go the way of Traffic Fluide (2:50) who should appreciate the drop back in trip.
Runner-up at Ascot over 2m3f last time, Gary Moore’s five-year-old is a keen-going sort who should appreciate this sharper test, with chase debutant Kings Bandit likely to set a brisk pace.
Top-weight Seventh Sky sets the standard, but concedes plenty of weight to the selection, while Cash And Go (one time a Grade 1 winning novice hurdler) makes his debut for Venetia Williams – he may need a shade further these days and is another who lacks previous experience over fences.
Monday’s selection:
2:50 Plumpton: Traffic Fluide; 9/4 Paddy Power
