Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Friday; Some Buckle in the Doncaster 13:35. Compare odds and bet.
Some decent action from Doncaster on Friday, notably the second start over fences of the exciting Josses Hill, while the 2m novices’ hurdle looks a decent contest.
Some Buckle (1:35) won well on his hurdles debut when selected here back in early December (scored by 14 lengths) and, though much more is required here, Tom George’s six-year-old can make it two from two under Paddy Brennan.
Third in a warm bumper at this track in February, he went on to take his chance in the Grade 1 at Punchestown, a race that has worked out really well this winter. The son of Milan jumped soundly on debut and he is fancied to take the step up in class in his stride – he is also entered in the Grade 2 at Warwick tomorrow (again indicating the regard in which he is held) but this shorter trip should prove more suitable for the time being.
Friday’s selection:
1:35 Doncaster: Some Buckle; 9/4 bet365
