Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Aiaam Al Namoos in the Musselburgh 14:30. Compare odds and bet.
Though he would ideally prefer better ground Aiaam Al Namoos (2:30) is of interest on his handicap debut at Musselburgh on Monday.
John Wade’s six-year-old won a decent Doncaster bumper on good ground last March and has shown glimpses of promise over hurdles to date, latterly when running on late behind the smart One Track Mind at Wetherby.
The form of his bumper success has worked out well since, with the runner-up The Grey Taylor winning his first two starts over hurdles and the third, fourth and eighth have also won over hurdles since, while seventh Bedale Lane won the bumper at Sedgefield on Boxing Day.
The selection, a son of Teofilo, looks well treated on that bumper form and the step up to 3m looks sure to bring about improvement.
Monday’s selection:
2:30 Musselburgh: Aiaam Al Namoos; 2/1 Paddy Power
