Live on Sky Sports 4: Thu 08:00 & 20:00 Angus Loughran previews the 2014 Nedbank Challenge and World Golf Challenge tournaments.
I am in Orlando at Isleworth for The Hero World Challenge which sees the return of Tiger Woods, forming part of a strong 18-man line-up in his own event.
The opening two balls see Rose face Stenson, Speith take on Reed and Watson meet Fowler so as well as Woods there should be plenty of action.
Henrik Stenson is the favourite at 7/1 although Jordan Speith will come here as a huge danger after a flawless final round saw him land the Australian Open and gain many plaudits as a result. Jet lag may be a problem but Speith is worth a bet at 10/1 to follow up at Isleworth.
Tiger is the unknown this week but loves the course where he used to live and for that reason alone cannot go unbacked at 16/1 while Graeme McDowell, also 16/1, looks the value each-way bet of this fabulous event.
Sun City plays second fiddle this week but I expect Louis Oosthuizen at 10/1 and Charl Schwartzel at 16/1 to give backers a great run for their money in an event which will once again draw decent crowds. There is a bigger than normal field chasing the million this week and don’t rule out a big week for Joost Luiten at a decent price of 20/1.
It is however in Isleworth Florida where the main golfing story takes place as Tiger returns to action. Many golf fans want him to make a return to the game to set up what could be some mammoth duels with Rory McIlroy at both Augusta in April and St Andrews in July.
After Sunday in Australia and his outstanding first Masters effort, Jordan Speith might also be a Major challanger in 2015.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
