Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Shaneshill in the Navan 12:55. Compare odds and bet.
The pick of the action on Sunday comes from Ireland, where Shaneshill (12:55) can provide Willie Mullins with a fourth successive Navan Novice Hurdle, a race that has been downgraded to a Grade 2 this season.
Boston Bob, Pont Alexandre and Briar Hill were successful in this event for the all-conquering yard when it was a Grade 1, as indeed was Mikael D’Haguenet back in 2008, and the Grade 1 Punchestown bumper winner did little wrong when making a winning debut over hurdles at Fairyhouse last month.
This is a much tougher assignment, but the son of King’s Theatre should have too much pace for impressive maiden winners No More Heroes and Pulled Mussel, who were both non-runners in the 3m Grade 3 contest at Cork last weekend.
Sunday’s selection:
12:55 Navan: Shaneshill
