Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday; Jack Frost in the Fakenham 15:50. Compare odds and bet.
Nicky Henderson has saddled three winners from just five runners (60%) in Fakenham bumpers in recent seasons and the Lambourn trainer can strike again on Thursday, with Ludlow winner Jack Frost (3:50).
The Midnight Legend gelding, who is a homebred four-year-old of The Queen, defied greenness to score on debut during May and, though that form might not amount to much, there was plenty to like about the performance. He appealed as the type to have improved for his summer break and can successfully shoulder his 7lb penalty, under Peter Carberry, who was also aboard on debut.
I’ve got a day off tomorrow, but will be back on Saturday and Sunday with my weekend selections.
Thursday’s selection:
3:50 Fakenham: Jack Frost; 5/6 Stan James
