Live on Sky Sports 4: Thu 04:00 Angus Loughran previews the BMW Masters & CIMB Classic Tournaments.
Confidence is a huge factor in golf so Thorbjorn Olesen, who was very impressive in Perth last week, looks worth a chance each-way at a tasty 35/1 in this week’s BMW Masters in Shanghai.
Justin Rose heads the market at 9/1 but Chris Kirk is the other player that catches my eye at 20/1. A win wager isn’t recomended as Kirk is making a debut visit to China but he is playing really well and if he settles in will be hard to beat.
My third against the field in China is Joost Luiten, who is right at the top of his game at present and should give backers a good run for their money at around the 22/1 mark.
Sergio Garcia is the 10/1 market leader for CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur but I fancy Charl Schwartzel here at 16/1.
One player i’ve been keeping an eye on is Ryo Ishikawa and I believe he is overpriced here at 50/1 in an event which has plenty of dead wood.
Paul Casey meanwhile, is also playing some really decent golf at present and should go well at 33/1.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
