Live on Sky Sports 4: Thu 10:30 and 21:00 Angus Loughran previews the KLM Open and Tour Championship tournaments.
The Tour Championship at East Lakes in Atlanta is a 29-man shoot-out to decide the 2014 Fedex Cup winner and with the exception of Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickleson it includes 10 of the American Ryder Cup Team.
Rory Mcllroy has been the dominant golfer in the world since his BMW win at Wentworth and he’s undoubtedly the man to beat this week, but the best odds around are only 7/2 .
I like the chances of Adam Scott at 10/1 on a course that suits him well while Zach Johnson has a far better chance than his 35/1 odds indicate.
Jordan Speith finished runner up here last season and is worth a look at 18/1 but it is a week for the big money and Mcllroy, even though not great value, is hard to overlook.
Home favouite Joost Luiten is a top price 12/1 to repeat last year’s memorable Dutch Open triumph and should go well while I also expect a big week from Simon Dyson.
The Englishman loves this event having won it in 2011 and also on this course in 2009, he played with great credit last year too so should give punters a run for their money.
Although out of form at moment Matteo Manessero (66/1) will love this course and Ross Fisher, a bit hit and miss at moment, looks overpriced at 40/1 for each-way backers.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
