Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Friday; Silver Tassie in the Kilbeggan 18:30. Compare odds and bet.
Over in Ireland, Noel Meade’s Silver Tassie (6:30) is taken to make a winning debut over fences, under Denis O’Regan.
The Shantou gelding never quite lived up to his reputation in bumpers (beaten favourite on first three starts) but he won a maiden hurdle last July and was travelling kindly when falling in a handicap at Fairyhouse when last sighted in April.
The six-year-old should appreciate this evening’s decent ground and, while he is unlikely to develop into one of Meade’s stable stars, there should be races to be won with him over fences.
Friday’s selections:
5:55 Haydock Rosie Probert;
6:30 Kilbeggan Silver Tassie; 2/1 bet365
