After a very promising third over course and distance last month (runner-up a winner since) Emirates Joy (6:40) is taken to get off the mark at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
Charlie Appleby’s Street Cry filly looked the most likely winner inside the final quarter-mile before tiring in the closing stages. A half-sister to the smart Zip Top, this looks a good opportunity for her to get off the mark, especially given the current wellbeing of Appleby’s string.
