Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Upsanddowns in the Newton Abbot 14:10. Compare odds and bet.
Likely to be a fairly warm order, it will be disappointing if Upsanddowns (2:10) can’t get off the mark on his second start for Evan Williams, on his first try over hurdles.
A useful bumper performer in Ireland, the six-year-old travelled really well on his British debut last month, eventually finishing 11 lengths second to a very promising type.
It might be that he needs a bit further in time, but he should be a cut above today’s rivals as Williams appears to have found an ideal opportunity.
