Live on BBC1: Mon 23.00: It’s 11/4 (Coral) for Ghana and USA to produce fewer than 1.5 goals in their World Cup Group G match.
The weather in Natal was wet to say the least as Mexico edged out Cameroon and things have only worsened as the city prepares to host Ghana’s clash with USA.
The rain was certainly an issue in that first game in the Arena Das Dunas and it’s fair to assume that it could be another close encounter on Monday evening.
Bet365 give Ghana the nod, making them 6/4 favourites while Coral quote the Americans at 11/5 and Boylesports post 5/2 against the stalemate.
Those prices make sense given that Jurgen Klinsmann’s men are probably the weakest team in Group G but it’s hard to recommend the Black Stars with too much conviction in light of the conditions and as the USA might struggle in attack the temptation is to focus on it being a low-scoring contest.
Skybet go 10/11 about a match tally of fewer than three goals but Coral’s 11/4 for the game to produce under 1.5 is arguably more appealing.
Recommended Bets:
Under 1.5 goals – 11/4 (Coral)
