Manchester City are now even money favourites with Ladbrokes to lift the FA Cup following the quarter-final draw.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men defeated Chelsea in the last 16 to set up a home tie with holders Wigan in a repeat of last season’s final. City are 1/9 at Ladbrokes to gain revenge for their Wembley defeat in that one and the Latics are 16/1 to cause an upset.
Ladbrokes have cut Arsenal to 5/2 to go all the way following their victory over Liverpool and the Gunners’ last eight opponents Everton are now 5/1.
Meanwhile, City’s chances of landing an incredible quadruple are now 33/1 (Ladbrokes).
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told Betrescue: “Despite the short prices punters cannot see past a City victory in the FA Cup this year, we’re just hoping that lightning strikes twice and Wigan do us another favour.”
