This weekend in Scotland sees just three Premiership games, with four of the top flight turning their attention to the league cup semi-finals instead.
The first of those ties sees St Johnstone face Aberdeen at Tynecastle. League form suggests the Dons should fancy their chances, and they won their last meeting with the Saints back in December.
They are 9/10 with Betway to win the tie in normal time and 8/1 with Stan James to do so 2-0. Bet365 is offering 13/5 on the game being taken to extra time but St Johnstone fans might want to take advantage of the 11/4 at Ladbrokes on the underdogs winning in 90 minutes.
Sunday sees the second semi-final, with Hearts taking on Inverness. Caley Thistle are favourites to win this one (7/10 with BetVictor) while a repeat of their 2-0 league victory in December against the same opponents is priced at 13/2 by Winner.com.
However, Hearts have just won two games in a row for the first time this season and have finally got themselves into positive points territory in the league. They are 7/2 with Stan James to continue this form and get through to the final in normal time. The draw, meanwhile, is available at 14/5 with Bet365.
There are two Premiership games on Saturday. Dundee United will be looking to put their run of six games without a win behind them when they visit Partick. This is the sort of match United would have been predicted to win comfortably just a few weeks ago but Thistle will feel this is a good time to welcome their visitors.
Partick are 11/5 with Skybet to win while an away victory is priced at 23/20 by BetVictor. The odds of it ending honours-even are 12/5 with Stan James.
Kilmarnock will start as favourites against Ross, whose good run of form came to an end against Hearts last week. Killie are 5/4 with Bet365 to come out on top and 8/1 with BetVictor to win it with the only goal of the game. The Staggies are 2/1 with Stan James to get back to winning ways while the stalemate is on offer at 23/10 with Paddy Power.
Sunday’s game sees champions-elect Celtic welcome St Mirren. The odds on a home win are unsurprisingly narrow, with 1/6 available at William Hill.
A more attractive bet might be the 13/10 with Bet365 on there being four goals or more during the match. It would take a brave punter to bet on anything other than a Celtic victory, but St Mirren are 17/1 with BetVictor to stun their hosts with a win while the stalemate is priced at 6/1 by Stan James.
