Sat 15.00: Champions Celtic head a 5/2 treble at Coral in one of our three picks across the Scottish Premiership programme this week.
The Scottish Premiership has a full 3pm programme on Saturday, with the first v third meeting at Celtic Park the pick of the games.
Motherwell are the latest team to see if they can stop the champions in their tracks, but Celtic will be heavily backed at 2/7 with Paddy Power to make it 10 league wins in a row. The hosts already have a 7-0 aggregate lead over Motherwell this season, and 3-0 here is priced at 15/2 by Bet365. A surprise away win is available at 15/2 with Stan James while a point apiece – which would be a good outcome for the visitors – is 19/4 with BetVictor.
If Motherwell do come unstuck, Aberdeen will hope to strengthen their grip on second place when they take on Inverness at Pittodrie. The Dons have won seven of their last eight and they will go into this one as favourites (17/20 with Winner.com).
Caley Thistle have lost both games against Aberdeen so far this campaign but only by a single goal each time, and they are 10/3 with Bet365 to turn the tables here. A draw is on offer at 13/5 with BetVictor while 1-1 is priced at 5/1 by Stan James.
Dundee United have gone right off the boil recently, and they have failed to win in five. They are clinging on to fourth place but they need to get back to winning ways quickly if they want to avoid slipping down the table.
They are 19/20 with Bet365 to record a success when they visit Ross County and 15/2 with William Hill to repeat the 1-0 victory they achieved over the Staggies last month. The hosts are 5/2 with Stan James to pile more misery on United, however, and 13/5 with BetVictor to send them home with just a point.
St Johnstone are back in the top half of the table following victory over St Mirren, and they have a good chance to build on that when they welcome bottom club Hearts to McDiarmid Park.
The Saints will be firm favourites and are priced at 1/3 with Bet365 to win it. The visitors have taken just one point in eight games, but they are 19/5 with Stan James to get another one here. An away win, meanwhile, which would be a something of a surprise, is on offer at 15/2 with Betway.
Should there be an upset at St Johnstone, Hibernian will look to pounce and reclaim sixth place for themselves. They are 5/6 with Ladbrokes to beat St Mirren at Easter Road and 13/2 with Stan James to match the 2-0 victory they secured here back in September. The visitors are 18/5 with BetVictor to head back with maximum points while Bet365 is offering 13/5 on this one ending all square.
The other game sees Partick host Kilmarnock. Neither side look likely to be troubled by relegation or to threaten the top half of the table but Partick will be looking to avenge last month’s defeat at Rugby Park. They are 5/4 with BetVictor to do so while their visitors are 9/4 with Skybet to grab all three points again. The draw is priced at 12/5 by Stan James.
