Stay on the level at 4/1

Live on SS4 & BT1: Sat 12.45 & Mon 19.45: We have three picks in Scotland this week, including a score draw (4/1, bet365) at Inverness.

Fans of leaders Inverness will want to see a quick reaction from their team after they suffered their first defeat of the season at Aberdeen. It’s hardly crisis time of course – Aberdeen are on a decent run – and indeed Caley Thistle, who are firm favourites at 5/6 with Skybet, will fancy their chances of bouncing back at the expense of Hibs, however, the visitors are unbeaten in five and they might nick a point (13/5, Stan James) in a contest that’s an enticing 4/1 via bet365 to finish in a score draw.

Celtic make the trip to Kilmarnock at the end of a mixed week. The Bhoys dominated last weekend’s game against St Johnstone, only to find themselves hanging on at the end to secure a narrow win but they were then one the end of a cup upset against Morton. Ladbrokes rate them at 2/5 to return to form at Kilmarnock by taking all three points and it’s 6/5 (BetVictor) for Neil Lennon’s troops to prevail ‘to nil’ at Rugby Park.

Although they nearly nicked a point at Parkhead Celtic last Saturday, St Johnstone have now gone four league games without a win. That run should come to an end against Partick, who lost heavily at Dundee United in the League Cup in midweek, and Winner.com quote Saints at a generous evens to stop the rot.

Dundee United travel to a Hearts outfit still propping up the table after a run of three defeats on the bounce. The Terrors fired four on Wednesday while the hosts needed penalties to see off Queen of the South, so the visitors will be confident of capitalising on weary Jambos legs.

Stan James make them 13/10 to head home with maximum points, while Ladbrokes quote odds of 10/3 for Jackie McNamara’s men to shade it by a one-goal margin.

Solid Motherwell, who have taken ten points from the last available dozen, are hard to oppose as they entertain Ross County and Stan James’s 4/5 about them getting the better of the Staggies should prove popular. County beat Hearts last time out and are 7/2 (BetVictor) to double up here but they’ve struggled on the road and bet365 make them 2/1 to lose without scoring at Fir Park.

Finally, on Monday, St Mirren tackle Aberdeen and a decent Dons side should heap more misery on the ailing Buddies. Betway chalk the visitors up at evens to prevail but they’re so solid defensively at present that a victory ‘to nil’ is worth considering at 23/10 (BetVictor).

Recommended Bets:
Inverness v Hibs score draw – 4/1 (bet365)
Aberdeen and Motherwell in win ‘to nil’ double – 10/1 (Coral)
Dundee Utd & St Johnstone to win – 18/5 (BetVictor)
