Sat 15.00: Oxford (10/11, Hills) and York are the value selections in League Two as they tackle Bury and Dagenham respectively.
Oxford flew out of the blocks in their opening fixture, hammering pre-season title favourites Portsmouth 4-1 at Fratton Park and the U’s, with their tails up, can surely follow up with another triumph as they entertain Bury.
The Shakers made a losing start against Chesterfield and given the troubles they’ve had of late, it’s easy to see them struggling for a while in League Two. Subsequently, the hosts are a confident selection at the Kassam Stadium, where they’re an alluring 10/11 via William Hill.
York narrowly avoided relegation last season but they have a stronger squad this time around and they showed as much last weekend as they edged out beaten play-off finalists Northampton 1-0.
This week Nigel Worthington’s troops head to Dagenham and although they’re considered outsiders by Ladbrokes at 17/10, they can upset the odds by nicking it against a Daggers outfit set to be one of the strugglers this term.
