Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Tuesday; Cut the Cards 4:45 Southwell & One Term 6:45 Bangor-On-Dee. Compare odds and bet.
Jonjo O’Neill has his string in fine form at present and Cut The Cards (4:45) is taken to complete the hat-trick at Southwell, nine days after scoring easily over course-and-distance.
The son of Vinnie Roe had earlier got off the mark at Ffos Las and the application of cheek pieces appear to have had the desired effect. Available at 11/10 with Bet365 last night, he is taken to score under AP McCoy, though King’s Destiny is respected on Flat form; he has yet to convince over hurdles, though.
The champion jockey then heads off to Bangor-On-Dee, where he is fancied to score aboard chasing debutant One Term (6:45) in what looks a decent novices’ chase for the time of year.
Swaledale Lad was in decent form when last seen and is respected, but Rebecca Curtis’ six-year-old was a smart hurdler and, while he disappointed last time, his third at Aintree the time before is pretty sound form, under similar conditions to those he will face this evening.
McCoy has been successful aboard the son of Beneficial on five occasions (twice in bumpers and three times over hurdles) from just seven rides on the gelding, and he can enhance that fine record here, provided his jumping passes the test.
Tuesday’s selections:
4:45 Southwell: Cut The Cards; evens Skybet
6:45 Bangor-On-Dee: One Term; 3/1 Skybet
