Wayne Rooney is odds-on at 8/11 with Ladbrokes to join Chelsea during the transfer window after the Blues moved for the striker.
Manchester United rejected Chelsea’s opening bid but Ladbrokes believe Jose Mourinho’s side will be back with an improved offer and subsequently Rooney is just 8/11 to be plying his trade at Stamford Bridge when the summer window closes.
Paris St Germain and Arsenal are both 8/1 to sign the England man while there has also been money for Rooney to make a controversial switch across town to United’s neighbours Manchester City, a transfer Ladbrokes have cut from 40/1 to 25/1.
The firm though, haven’t ruled out the possibility of David Moyes persuading his centre foward to remain at Old Trafford and he’s even money to stay put.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told Betrescue.com: “Money talks, and as far as punters are concerned Rooney’s days at United are numbered. It’s only a matter of time before Chelsea get their man.”
