Andy Murray is just 5/4 with Coral to win the Wimbledon title after the British number one eased through to the third round in straight sets.
Murray took just over two hours to see off Yen Hsun Lu while his route to SW19 glory was also made clearer following the withdrawal of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Marin Cilic as well as the sensational exit of defending champion Roger Federer.
Subsequently, Coral cut the Scot from 2/1 to 5/4 to come out on top although world number one Novak Djokovic remains favourite at even money.
Coral also make Murray 7/4 favourite to be named Sports Personality of the Year.
“Quite rightly Andy Murray will take it one match at a time, but the exit of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Roger Federer in particular has removed a major obstacle from his path, and the British number one is the shortest price he has ever been at this stage of the tournament,” Coral’s David Stevens told Betrescue.
