Ladbrokes have slashed the odds of the Lions remaining unbeaten Down Under from 9/2 to 7/2 following their latest tour victory.
Warren Gatland’s side brushed aside Western Force 69-17 in Perth to make it two wins from two and Ladbrokes have subsequently cut the Lions from 8/13 to 4/7 to win the Test series against Australia while they’re now 4/6 to win the first Test as money continues to come in for the tourists.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Betrescue.com: “We’ve slashed the odds of them coming home unscathed on the basis of likely gulf in class between them and their non-test opponents. Punters were keen to back the Lions to cover the handicap against the Force and they duly got their reward following another clinical performance.”
He added: “It’s one way traffic as far as the outright market is concerned. Lions fans are lumping on like the series is already in the bag.”
