Live on Sky Sports 3: Thu 19:00 Angus Loughran previews this week’s World Golf Championships | Selections
Tiger Woods at 12/1 (Betvictor) is a Monster Bet at Doral this week at a venue he has won three times and with the exception of last year when he withdrew with injury in last round has never been out top 10 each way 1/4 first 5 looks tremendous value here as I fully expect him to be in the mix and he is such an easy player to trade in running when in contention. I really cannot believe he is 12/1 to win here and will be betting accordingly! I remember him starting odds on here in 2008 having won the previous 3 years.
Geoff Ogilvy is overpriced at 50/1 (StanJames) having bounced back to form he won here in 2008 and could easily go well.
Bubba Watson destroyed this course last year and his game is pefect for this layout at 33/1 (Ladbrokes) he also has to be included in this weeks bettind portfolio. This Par 72 with four par 5s is perfect for the big hitters like Woods and Watson.
Rory Mcllroy was stupid to quit last week and there would be no better place to start than at Doral where he was a winner as a junior his game is not where he wants it to be at present but 25/1 (Paddy Power) is on the generous side.
The Puerto Rico Openlooks a sideshow in comparisson to Doral and is very Open Bryce Moulder is one I like at 28/1 as is John Rollins who is overpriced at 40/1 with Coral.
Good luck
