Rock bottom QPR are now as short as 1/9 to be relegated with William Hill after they went down 2-0 to Manchester United.
Harry Redknapp’s men are now seven points adrift of safety with just eleven matches to play and bookies think the Loftus Road outfit now need a miracle if they are to preserve their Premier League status.
It was also a bad weekend for Reading who have been cut to 1/3 from 4/9 by Hills for the drop following a demoralising defeat to Wigan while the Leeds-based bookmaker clipped Aston Villa to 8/11 in the wake of their loss at Arsenal.
Speaking to Betrescue, William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said, “Things are looking very bleak for QPR, Reading and Villa but Wigan might just be safe for another year.”
Relegation: 1/9 QPR; 1/3 Reading; 8/11 Aston Villa; 10/11 Wigan; 5/1 Southampton; 9/1 Norwich
