Tues 19.45 & 20.00: Leicester (4/7, bet365) head a tasty 5/1 treble at BetVictor in Tuesday’s Championship programme.
Six points adrift of second spot with a couple of games in hand, Leicester remain one of the main contenders for automatic promotion in the Championship and they should boost their chances in that department by getting the better of Charlton at the King Power Stadium.
Admittedly the Foxes have suffered back-to-back defeats in league and cup but they have an outstanding home record and are taken at 4/7 (bet365) to overcome an Addicks side arriving having taken just one point from their last four matches.
Crystal Palace also retain an interest in the battle to reach the Premier League and like Leicester they have built a promotion challenge around some particularly solid home form.
Subsequently, the Eagles are huge at 4/6 with Coral to follow up Saturday’s 4-1 hammering of rivals Middlesbrough with a success over travel-sick strugglers Bristol City, who have racked up the most away defeats in the division.
Also set to land three points in front of their own supporters are Barnsley, generous 7/5 favourites via William Hill as they entertain Wolves. The rejuvenated Tykes have won seven out of eight in all competitions while the visitors haven’t enjoyed an upturn in fortunes since appointing Dean Saunders, who is still without a victory in six attempts as Wanderers boss.
Moreover, Barnsley know that a win will see them climb out of the relegation zone at the expense of their opponents and that will give them an extra incentive against a Wolves side struggling for confidence at present.
