England now the clear favourites for the Six Nations according to Ladbrokes at 1/5 and 8/11 to win the Grand Slam with France, Italy and Wales standing in their way.
The game may have failed to live up to the hype but Stuart Lancaster’s men got the result they needed and it’s secured England’s position as the odds-on 1/5 favourites to win this year’s Six Nations Championship.
The chances of a Grand Slam have now been slashed to even money, or for those who fear England could come unstuck against France or Wales can take 8/11 that there’s no slam winner.
Chris Robshaw (evens) has now displaced Brian O’Driscoll as the favourite to captain the Lions Down Under this summer.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told betrescue.com: “With our hearts we want England to triumph the lot, but with our heads we wouldn’t mind the Welsh resurgence putting a spanner in the works as the English Grand Slam will see us hand over the keys to the company.”
