Giant killing Bradford City are 4/1 at Coral for League Cup final glory at the expense of 1/6 favourites Swansea.
The Wembley showpiece sees Swansea take on League Two side Bradford City for a place in next season’s Europa League. It’s 4-11 for Swansea to overcome the Bantams in normal time (3-1 Draw and 8-1 Bradford) and evens the Swans win to nil (10-1 Bradford to win to nil).
“Everything points to a Swansea victory, but as Bradford have showed in previous rounds, they are no pushover,” Coral’s Tim Reynolds told betrescue.com
“The West Yorkshire side have already beaten Wigan, Arsenal and Aston Villa on their way to Wembley so if Swansea underestimate Bradford, there could be a shock on the cards,” added Reynolds.
It’s 14/1 Bradford extend their world record breaking penalty shoot-out run in the match at Ladbrokes with 2014/1 the price they go from one dream to another next season by lifting the Europa League trophy. Swansea are just 40/1 to do the same should they qualify.
The Bantams do now have a better chance of lifting the trophy than if they were to play Chelsea however with them priced at just 10/3 to make history, having been 1250/1 shots when the tournament began.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It would have been a bold call to pick this final even at the semi stage. The odds have been upset continually along the way so no-one is ruling out Bradford creating a final piece of magic.”
