Live on Skysports 2: Sat 17.20: High flying Hull are worthy favourites at 4/6 (Coral) to beat struggling Sheff Wed in the Championship.
A tally of ten points from their last five games suggests Sheffield Wednesday’s form is relatively solid but they lost their last league match 2-0 at home to Burnley and failed to break down League One MK Dons in the FA Cup last weekend so they’re up against it as they head to promotion-chasing Hull for a televised Championship clash.
The Tigers, Coral’s 4/6 favourites, are second having racked up an unbeaten run stretching back eight league matches and on their own patch they should be far too strong for the Owls whose struggle for goals over the last couple of matches lends appeal to Paddy Power’s 9/5 for a home success ‘to nil’.
Also a home banker at 4/6, this time via BetVictor, are leaders Cardiff. The Bluebirds have won a remarkable dozen of their 13 matches on their patch and although opponents Ipswich have undoubtedly improved of late, this looks like too big a task for them.
Completing a trio of potential homes are Bolton, who are yet to peak since relegation from the Premier League. The Trotters have nevertheless shown signs of life recently and were unfortunate to only draw with Sunderland a week ago so they’re taken at 11/10 (Betfred) to overcome Millwall, whose away form is a touch patchy.
