Sat 15.00: Bournemouth (8/11, Coral) and Shrewsbury (5/4, Stan James) are the best bets in League One this weekend.
Bournemouth suffered their first League One defeat since early October last Saturday as they went down at Walsall but the Cherries bounced back with a victory at improving Hartlepool in midweek and back on home soil they can get the better of Crewe.
Eddie Howe’s men are 8/11 at Coral to boost their play-off push with a three-point haul and although the mid-table visitors are in fairly solid form, Bournemouth should still have too much quality on their own patch.
Shrewsbury have toughened up of late, climbing up the table on the back of an eight-match unbeaten run that was only brought to an end by high-flying Swindon last time out.
Up against struggling Bury, the Shrews should continue their revival and Stan James rate them at an enticing 5/4 to do just that at the New Meadow.
The big game in League One meanwhile, is at Prenton Park where leaders Tranmere lock horns with fourth-placed Swindon. Despite their position at the table’s summit Rovers are outsiders at 9/4 (BetVictor), a price that looks too big but as the Robins, Ladbrokes’ 6/4 favourites, are in cracking form, this one is hard to call and the draw at 12/5 via Skybet is the tentative pick.
