Fatcatinthehat ought to be very tough to beat in the opening juvenile hurdle, three-times bumper winner Glens Melody looks a high-class mare in the making and should take the next, while Ballycasey was highly-touted ahead of winning a bumper last Christmas.
Aside from the Mullins trio, the highlight on the card is the chase debut of The Real Article, a high-class hurdler who ought to be very tough to beat, granted a clear round. He has gone off the boil a little over hurdles, but remains a very bright prospect for fences and one that could take high rank if things go to plan. His tissue price of 11/10 would seem more than fair, but is trading at 13/8 this morning.
