Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill is the new 5/4 favourite with Coral to be the next man to leave his post after his side drew 0-0 with QPR.
The Black Cats failed to break rock-bottom Rangers down at the Stadium of Light, a result that means they are just a couple of points above the relegation zone. Coral meanwhile, also make them 4/1 to go down.
Speaking to Betrescue, Coral’s Tim Reynolds said, “Sunderland have now only won one of their last nine matches in all competitions and unless the Black Cats start winning games soon, Martin O’Neill could soon find himself under the spotlight.”
Elsewhere, Aston Villa have drifted to 5/2 with Coral to go down after they secured a 1-0 victory over Reading to move two points clear of the bottom three. The Royals came in to 1/2 to be playing Championship football next term on the back of that result and manager Brian McDermott is now 6/1 in Coral’s ‘sack race’ betting.
