Sat 15.00: Improving Coventry are 19/20 with William Hill to see off Scunthorpe while Brentford also catch the eye in League One.
The green shoots of recovery are definitely evident at the Ricoh Arena, where new Coventry boss Mark Robins seems to be turning things around. The Sky Blues have won three in a row in league and cup, culminating in an impressive 3-1 success against high-flying Crawley on Tuesday and they can follow up by beating fellow strugglers Scunthorpe this weekend.
The Iron picked up a rare victory in midweek but that ended a winless streak of eight matches so it’s way too early to say they’ve turned the corner. City are the pick then at 19/20 with William Hill, it’s just a shame that shrewd punters gobbled up the even money available earlier in the week.
Brentford have been strong at home this term so it was somewhat surprising when they conceded a late leveller to earn just a point against rock-bottom Hartlepool in their last fixture at Griffin Park.
The Bees bounced back well though, with consecutive away victories in league and cup and back on their own patch, Brentford look a decent bet at 4/5 courtesy of Betfred to see off patchy Carlisle.
