Live on SS1&3: Thu 05.00 & 18:00 Angus Loughran previews this week’s Singapore Open and Hospital Classic tournaments Selections
Rory Mcllroy 9/2 (Skybet) and Adam Scott 7/1 (Betvictor) head the field in this weeks Singapore Open and both have clear cut chances while Louis Oostuizen at 12/1 (Ladbrokes) will be hoping to quickly forget last weekend when he blew a 5 shot halfway lead.
He is a good enough player to bounce back quickly as he showed in April when winning the week after his playoff defeat to Bubba Watson in Masters at Augusta I am backing him again this week.
Phil Mickleson will have plenty of supporters at 11/1 (Paddy Power) while the forgotton man of European Golf Paul Casey is the value bet here at 33/1 Betfred) on a course he will relish. 2012 has been a year to forget with injury for Casey but he is a real talent and this is a great chance for him to end year a winner again.
The PGA Tour concludes for year in Florida this week and The Network Classic has a real end of season feel to it. Ben Curtis at 50/1 (Ladbrokes) is my idea of the each way value here while Ryan Palmer at 28/1 with William Hill also looks value in an event which looks very Open and with no clear market leaders anyone could win the PGA Tour seasons finale
Good luck
Angus Loughran
