Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday; Twelve Roses in the 2.50 at Wincanton. Compare odds and bet.
With several of the top stables represented, the second division of Wincanton’s 2m6f maiden hurdle looks a competitive affair and there maybe a bit of value to be had with Kim Bailey’s Twelve Roses (2:50) who looked a promising type when winning his bumper at Chepstow in April.
The four-year-old, who was well backed beforehand, stayed on well to beat a useful field, giving the distinct impression he would appreciate a trip over timber. A full-brother to Cinderella Rose, he is bred to relish this sort of distance and, with the booking of Tony McCoy a positive, the Midnight Legend gelding can make a winning debut over hurdles.
