Live on SS1&3: Thu 06:30 & 19:00 Angus Loughran previews this week’s Perth International and McGladrey Classic tournaments
Ben Curtis proved his liking to Links Golf when winning The Open Championship at Royal St Georges in 2003 at his first attempt and he has shown enough form in his latest two starts to suggest he will go well in Sea Island Georgia and that 40/1 is a generous price at Stan James
Colombian Camillo Villegas is another who will love the course and looks a big price at 70/1 with Bet365.
Zach Johnson has an obvious chance but is too short at 12/1 with Betvictor while keep an eye on David Toms at 50/1 as he is back after a lengthy break at Skybet.com
A real International Field has gathered in Perth Australia this week where local man Brett Rumford appeals at 25/1 (Skybet) he is playing some decent golf this season and should give backers a decent run.
Jason Dufner is a great player but I cannot believe he is so short this week at 6/1 favourite with Ladbrokes I like his chances but was hoping for 14/1 or bigger!
There may be a big field but this event has little strength in depth but could easily throw up a huge shock. Johan Edfors at 80/1 at Ladbrokes looks best of big prices as conditions will be ideal for him
Good luck
Angus Loughran
