Frankel remains 1-12 favourite with Coral for the Qipco Champion Stakes, after the colt completed a racecourse workout at Newmarket today. Cirrus Des Aigles is the 5-1 second favourite, ahead of Nathaniel at 8-1.
Coral are also betting on Frankel’s end of year rating, and make 140 the evens favourite.
“Frankel has been odds-on favourite for every race following his debut run, and depending on his eventual opposition at Ascot, he could well start somewhere near the 1-20 mark for his Champion Stakes swansong next month,” Coral’s David Stevens told betrescue.com
“Given his dominance over his rivals, we think he may find it hard to improve on his current mark, and make 140 the most likely end of year rating,” added Stevens.
