Following the draw for the fourth round of the Capital One Cup Coral are offering 3-1 that the quarter-finals are all Premier League affairs
“Traditionally the Premier League sides have dominated this tournament, but with Leeds having a home tie against Southampton and Middlesbrough facing their arch rivals Sunderland, it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see an upset on the cards,” Coral’s Tim Reynolds told betrescue.com
“Bradford and Swindon are the other teams that are still in the competition from outside the Premier League, but they both face tough ties against Wigan and Aston Villa respectively,” added Reynolds.
The 2012 competition saw Championship side Cardiff City become the first team from outside the Premier League to reach the final since Birmingham City lost out to Liverpool in 2001. It’s 10-1 for Leeds or Middlesbrough to go on and reach the final and 22-1 is on offer for either side to lift the cup.
