Sat 15.00: Sheffield United at 8/15 with Blue Square, can pick up three League One points at the expense of struggling Bury at Bramall Lane.
The two teams that bookies expect to fight it out for top spot in League, Sheffield United and MK Dons, can both underline their title credentials this weekend by picking up relatively straightforward victories in front of their own supporters.
The Blades, at 8/15 with Blue Square, tackle hapless Bury, who sit one place off the bottom having amassed just a couple of points from their opening five fixtures. The hosts by contrast, remain unbeaten despite not really hitting top gear and they enter this match with spirits high after they snatched a point with only nine men at Scunthorpe last weekend.
At stadium:mk, Ladbrokes post 7/10 against the Dons, who take on Yeovil. The Glovers have made an impressive start, winning three and drawing one of their handful of games but they struggled at home to Bournemouth last weekend, suffering their first loss and we expect more of the same against a Dons team whose home matches have both produced 2-0 successes.
Graham Westley’s Preston meanwhile, are starting to take shape and with back-to-back triumphs under their belt they’re worth considering at 5/4 (William Hill) as Crawley head to Deepdale.
