Coral has slashed Certify to 6-1 (from 12-1) at the head of their Qipco 1,000 Guineas betting, after the Godolphin filly maintained her unbeaten record in today’s Fillies’ Mile. Maureen is the 16-1 second favourite ahead of her appearance at Newmarket tomorrow, with Sky Lantern and Waterway Run, winner of the opener at Headquarters today, both 20-1.
“Certify became a Group One winner in good style, and it will take an extremely smart performance by a rival filly before the end of season to prevent the Godolphin runner heading into winter quarters as hot favourite for the Newmarket Classic,” Coral’s David Stevens told betrescue.com
