Tiger Woods is just 1/3 with Ladbrokes to break Sam Snead’s record of PGA Tour wins and he is 6/1 to win The Open at Royal Lytham.
Woods chalked up a 74th PGA win over the weekend and is just 1/3 to surpass Sam Snead’s record of 82 wins on the Tour. At 6/1, he is fav for The Open and another major title.
Padraig Harrington remains well backed at 20/1 at Royal Lytham while patriotic punters side with Luke Donald at 16/1 to win his maiden major.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Woods has already won 3 Tour events this year so it’s impossible to see how he won’t break Snead’s record. He’s looking like the Tiger of late and we’re really starting to fear paying out on him every time he takes to the course.”
