With Bradley Wiggins clear 1/3 fav to win the Tour de France, Ladbrokes have him down at 7/4 to win Sports Personality of The Year.
Cadel Evans has drifted to 4/1 in the Tour and Wiggins is 8/15 to win by a margin of over 1 min 30 sec.
Chris Froome has been the subject of a lot of support and moves into 9/1 (from 14’s).
Bradley Wiggins is also now 5/4 to bring home gold at this summer’s Olympic time-trial and punters believe he’s well in with a shout for the BBC SPOTY award at 7/4 which will look a strong bet should he win the Tour plus gold at the Olympics.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Wiggins may claim that he’s not a machine but the odds suggest otherwise. He’s dominating this Tour, and despite now being odds-on punters keep piling into his chances.”
