Mark Webber has been cut from 14/1 to 6/1 with Coral to win the F1 Drivers’ world championship after his win at Silverstone.
Runner-up Fernando Alonso is still the 7/4 fav, slightly out from 13/8, while Sebastien Vettel is also clipped to 2/1 (from 9/4) after his 3rd place finish.
“In this most open and exciting of seasons, the British Grand Prix was another in-running thriller, with Mark Webber’s victory ensuring the title race is now a four-driver contest, which bodes well for interest in the remainder of the season,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
NB: Coral had promised to refund stakes on any British driver who failed to finish the race so win and each way bets placed on Paul Di Resta will be refunded. Bets struck on Vitaly Petrov (excluding qualifying) will be settled as void as he failed to make the grid.
