Coral have cut Sea Moon into 11/4 (from 3/1) for the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes next weekend at Ascot.
Punters are hoping Sea Moon can emulate his Sir Michael Stoute-trained stablemate, Harbinger, by taking home both the King George VI and the Hardwicke Stakes. The race fav is 9/4 chance St Nicholas Abbey while Nathaniel comes in next at 5/2.
“The King George is shaping up to be a top-class battle of the older horses, and at this stage any one of the top three in the betting could start favourite next Saturday,” reckoned Coral’s David Stevens.
