Andy Murray is 11/2 with Betfred to quickly get over his Wimbledon heartbreak by picking up an Olympic gold medal on Centre Court.
The Scot became the first Brit to reach the final at SW19 since Bunny Austin 74 years ago but despite winning the first set he was eventually beaten 3-1 by Roger Federer and has now turned his attention to the Olympics, which gets under way in early August.
Federer, having captured a record-equalling seventh Wimbledon title, is 5/2 courtesy of Blue Square to again prevail at his second home while Boylesports make Novak Djokovic their 2/1 favourite and Skybet chalk Rafael Nadal up at 4/1.
Elsewhere, Murray’s next opportunity to win a Grand Slam is the US Open in September and Coral quote the 25-year-old at 11/2 to come out on top at Flushing Meadows, where defending champion Djokovic is the 7/4 market leader via bodog. The Scot is also 9/2 with bet365 to win January’s Australian Open.
